Who we are
Hathor House was founded in 2017 as a place for women to gather and explore the deeper parts of ourselves that we don't often get to uncover in casual conversation. Over time it has evolved into a space for women to come learn about reproductive health & rights and a gathering place for parents to be.
Founder and Owner Stevie Leigh was inspired to create Hathor House after she began her work as a Birth Doula early in 2017. This community holds hands with the birthworker community in Los Angeles and supports radicals and free thinkers.
We offer a variety of classes, circles, and workshops on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Typical classes include Village Prenatals, Miscarriage & Abortion Support Circles, reproductive health classes, doula support groups and more. We hold most of our events outdoors under our canopy of trees and are located in Pasadena, California.
If you are an expecting parent looking for community we would love to meet you. If you’re looking for doula services (birth, postpartum, placenta encapsulation, etc.) or if you are a person who has experienced a loss (miscarriage/abortion) please contact me here.
If you are a doula looking for a network or support group or if you would like to offer something to our community contact us through the link below.
We can’t wait to connect with you.
